Description
Carved on a single antler point is the face of an elder forest spirit, a guardian of all that live and breath amongst the woodlands and forests.
Similar faces were very much a part of european folklore for many centuries and dates back to the Germans who carved similar faces into the trees of the Black Forest to act as a 'marker' for boundaries. In other cultures these faces were carved and placed amongst or put somewhere that needed protecting by the forest spirits.
Wear your own forest Elder spirit as a personal guardian, hand carved and scorched into a single antler point, which has been sealed and polished to give a permanent soft sheen, and is hung on a hand plaited washed 22 inch hemp cord, with an scorched antler leaf bead fastening.
